Screenwriter Gene Markey (1895-1980) counted among his ex-wives Joan Bennett, Hedy Lamarr and Myrna Loy. He must have died of exhaustion.
Actor Robert Vaughn, of “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” is the author of “Only Victims” a book about the Hollywood anti-communist purge of the nineteen sixties. It was called “Too Much Johnson.” It was shot in 1938, but was never completed.
