In the first of three western comedies, ROMANCE REVIER (1934), Bachelor cowhand Bud Lansing (Fred Humes) arrives for the reading of his late uncle's will, with "surprises" in store. His uncle's stepbrother, banker William Carter (Murdock MacQuarris), has connections with shady lawyer Elmer Sprague (Nelson McDowell) and has knowledge that causes chaos. However, Bud's pal, Benjamin McGillicuddy (Ben Corbett), is on to the plan and has one of his own.
The second feature, GIRL TROUBLE (1933), was the first in a series of Bud 'n Ben western comedy shorts and introduces Ben Corbett and Jack Perrin. Bud Adams (Jack Perrin) goes to town to meet and marry the girl he met in Chicago. Unknown to Bud his pal Ben (Ben Corbett) also has a girl he wrote and asked to marry him coming to town. One problem – Ben sent Bud's picture instead of his own to his intended! Now begins the real comedy!
The last feature, RAINBOW RIDERS (1934), the duo get involved in helping save a ranch from hired gunmen. When Perrin comes to the rescue, poses as an outlaw to infiltrate the gang things go a bit crazy! Great idea – turned bad!
