GANGS OF SONORA:
The law of the land is run by Commissioner Tredwell – with the help of hired guns and corrupt lawyer Conners. Beecham of the Clarion is the only one who publicly stands up to Tredwell, resulting in his paper being burned to the ground and his life ended. Kansas Kate takes up this crusade when she comes to visit her son Conners. Kate sees what is going on and takes over the paper keeping the pressure on Tredwell. All this causes mixed emotions for the Three Mesquiteers, but they do everything they can to keep Kate and the paper safe.

PIONEERS OF THE WEST:
In 1876 the wagon train heads west when the Indians attack. The wagon master is killed so the boys volunteer to lead them to Overland Valley – their new home. When they arrive the travelers find they paid too much for what they got, but they clear the land and build their homes. Our heroes bring cattle to the settlers so the herds can begin to grow. Judge Platt finds out that the railroad is coming through the homesteaders' land. Greed takes over and Platt tries to force them out using tax after tax and thugs. The Mesquiteers are there to defend the settlers and help them keep their land.
